Can you provide a transcript? I have been typing out "important insights" for a few minutes now and I realized I was typing out 50% of what you're saying; and now my hands are tired. In other words, you are awesome; I love what you have to say. Please provide your words in written format. Thank you. EDIT: I just realized you have a blog about this. Derp.

Undoubtful a great video. Could you please produce some more? ( about the Case Study based portfolio creation) I am about to finish my UI design course in CareerFoundry. I already start to make my portfolio before I finish the course. I feel more confident when I do that and hopefully expecting to end in some volunteer project before I start to do the job search. I need more of these videos and conferences to create my mindset. This content is a treasure ... Thanks

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback Spazio! We'll certainly get more UX / UI portfolio videos up on our KZitem channel in the near future. Is there anything specific we could cover that would help you in this process?

The UX portfolios I've seen look like UI portfolios. I'd love to have a link (or links) to examples that show the UX design process.

Okay, so real talk. this video scared me until I came back to watch the end. Quality over quantity. But my questions is this: Should I learn mark up, even if my raster skills are pretty damn good?, like, literally pixel by pixel, with proper opacity/color in each? Some ui designers, I've seen, literally have on 3d image. But I was taught for web, and not in any professional setting. I don't know, I'm a little stressed right now. Can I just make a ui kit, and then have that as a portfolio?

I have a google analytics tracker on my site. I see when people view my linkedIn page. However, nobody ever goes to my portfolio. Even when I go to interviews I find that employers have not read my resume nor have they seen my site. How is this becoming normal?

Aaron Smith I’m noticing this as well. Unfortunately it’s the laziness of HR companies. I get that it’s because they have to quickly sort through hundreds of resume, but it’s becoming concerning. Companies want the best talent, so sometimes they let HR companies take over for this process. But how do you recruit the best and suitable talent for your company if the HR people don’t even know a thing about the field? They scan for keywords. Blah

Hi James, thanks for the feedback, this is an older release and we've changed our approach to our KZitem videos radically since. Thank for the feedback though and hopefully the audio comes across a lot better with our current releases.

Wo wo wo, everything was good until you said UX was both for the user and the company, totally disagree with that.
