Thank you so much IAMRENISI for teaching me a new skill on Affinity. I had so much fun. God bless you for sharing your talent. It is very much appreciated.

It's great having you in the Affinity community, Rensi. You make the affordable post-processing app a viable option. And you make Buddy everyone's buddy.

I realized a couple of things: I might master this guru's level of working with Affinity but I will never master his level of creativity. As they say in France: chapeau.

Thanks much for another awesome tutorial :-). I'll have to give it a try with my two buddies, Charlie and Star. One thing for sure, I won't be cruising through this as fast as you, ha-ha.

Eventually I got some great results, thankyou very much. I would have got there faster had I cleared the default background colour and size.

Great Stuff Rensi!! As always! Question - The blur was done so that the displacement would take shape on Buddy's face better, or why exactly? #Thanx
@IAMRENSI
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Glad you like it! That’s right, if you don’t do that blur-action, the displacement filter tries to bend it taking all details in consideration. We just want the rough shape. Hope this helps! 🙌

Great video! For some reason, when I change the background to be transparent, it always reverts back to the black background. When I save as a PNG, the background is still black. Any ideas?
@IAMRENSI
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Honestly I’m not sure what’s going on there.. What you could try is to merge all visible layers (without bg). And then select that layer -> Export as png -> Selection only. Hope this helps! 👊🏼

Thank you!! @@IAMRENSI I had to actually select a background, and then select no background and it worked.

Honestly I never use the iPad version, even though I do have it. But as far as I know the iPad app is supposed to have the same functionality as the desktop app. So it should be possible :)

That makes sense if you don’t understand English. I wouldn’t understand a tutorial in your language either 😅
