Hello mate I don't know if you are going to reply after couple of years posting this video first of all love your work! My question is in video tab / resolution I don't have 2k/4k I only have 1080p do you know why ? Thank you 🙏
@silvercoloredlens

Hey man, thanks for your kind words. 🙏 In the free version (a.k.a. community version), you can actually render videos up to 4k resolution and up to 60fps. Maybe you need to update to the latest version 2.8 for this to work. You can also enable some features in the Preference section. Hope this helps. 🫡

Why tables don't drop any shadow? Bath should also have deeper shadow around..
@silvercoloredlens
4 ай бұрын
If you look closely, the shadows are there. I guess the overexposed area somehow blurs its appearance. The length of the shadow is relative to the angle of the light source, in this case the sunlight.

Hello, good job! Personally, I work with Twinmotion, but I also like this software because it offers a high level of realism. I wanted to ask you how long it takes to render a video in good quality and what are the specifications of your equipment. I have an RTX 3070 Ti, 64 GB of RAM and an i9 processor; however my videos take up to 18 hours to render.
@silvercoloredlens

Hey Paul, thank you. I use a laptop for my renderings. For a 10-second clip, it would take about 30 minutes or less with 2k resolution. My laptop specs are: RTX3070 | Ryzen 9 5900HX | 32GB RAM
@yij0019
Жыл бұрын
Thank you, this is very helpful. I use twinmotion and other rendering software as well. And as much as I love the quality of twinomition with path tracing, the video takes so long to render, and D5 seems like it has a good compromising point between quality and time.

Awesome thank you 😊 have D5 Render version 2.5. But there is another problem!! I have a core 17-11700 processor on rtx 4070Ti 12 Gb. 64 GB RAM 500GB SSS m2 2 TB hard disk Monitor 27’’ 4K UHD When rendering, it sometimes limps, slows down why?
@silvercoloredlens
Жыл бұрын
You can get their benchmark tool to find out if your pc specs meet the minimum requirements. www.d5render.com/specs Another thing you could test out is that when rendering animations, you can try using the "image sequence" option and then stitch the rendered images into a video using a different software like premiere pro or after effects. I made a spearate video for this process. You can check it out here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/l2mqp2SOr3abnX4 I hope this helps you. 🙂

@@silvercoloredlens NP. I personally like d5 better. Much more affordable. Lumion is more expensive (much more) and really, the result on d5 are very good for the price. If you were an early adopter, it was a steal!

What do you think of enscape vs d5
@silvercoloredlens
2 жыл бұрын
Enscape has more features, especially in their recent update. Personally, I like the realism of D5 render. No doubt that it will soon catch up with the big boys, but who knows. Chaos Group just bought Enscape, so let's see. 😉
@MlleVB
2 жыл бұрын
@@silvercoloredlens definitely agree. I have used many SketchUp compatible render engines. By far D5 is somewhat a combination of vray realism and enscape speed Thats why i currently sticks with d5. The realism just just different than enscape

did you import the file form sketchup??. also you can hide object or do modeling using d5 render i cant figure it out
@silvercoloredlens

Yes, I imported the 3d model from sketchup to D5. You can hide objects by clicking on the 👁 (eye-icon) next to the object name. D5 render can't do modeling tasks. It can only render stills and animations.
