DIRECTIONS:
To create the base of this mini album, score a 5.25 x 11 inch paper at 2, 3.5, 7.5 and 9 inches on the 11-inch side. Fold and crease along all of the score lines.
Next, use a ruler and a pencil to mark 3-inches up from the bottom on each inner edge of each front panel. Then, use the ruler and pencil again to draw a line connecting the marks you made to each top corner on the outer edge of each panel. Finally, cut along these lines to create the peekaboo pocket effect.
To create the pages, trim 6 papers to the following sizes:
• 2 x 3.75 inches
3 x 3.75 inches
3.5 x 3.75 inches
4 x 3.75 inches
4.5 x 3.75 inches
5 x 3.75 inches
For extra fun, you can add cut aparts or pockets & envelopes to the album as pages as well. Just make sure they don’t exceed the length or width of your largest page.
I used the Mini Cinch tool from We R Memory Keepers and wire binding to bind the album base and pages together.
To create a closure for this album, take a 2 x 12 piece of paper and score it along the 12-inch side at 3, 4.5, 8.5 and 10 inches. Fold and crease along all of the score lines, then mold the closure around the base of the album and use adhesive to adhere it into place. This closure, or belly band, can easily slide on and off of the album.
Finally, embellish the album and add all of your fun travel memories to it!

TIPS OR ADVICE:
Use different sizes of pages to create a layered look.
If you don’t have the Mini Cinch, binder rings or discs would work just as well for the binding.
