Nice work, saw it on blender subreddit. Only thing id add is adding addaptive subdivision on the tree branch with a displacement map to make the mesh look a bit less uniform

I've been looking for that curved lens effect for a long while. I keep looking up anamorphic distortion, but nothing shows up, thanks (Inspired by the batman look)

Hey thanks! I'm a huge fan of cinematic anamorphic shots myself. Using panoramic cameras can definitely imitate curved lens distortion but isn't accurate as the curve is too intense across the whole composition and makes the bokeh bend like a sphere towards the center. The method I use now for good lens distortion is after rendering and in post processing where in After Effects I add the Optics Compensation effect, where from there the distortion is better controlled and influences mostly the edges like how you would expect. I got a new video dropping this Friday where I talk a little bit more about how my camera set up works, but I want to make a dedicated video covering cinematography and anamorphic features in the future, take care!

@@Regoliste Oh wow, I'll try researching for Optics compensation for Davinci resolve because I don't have an adobe license. By the way, I've been a huge fan of your work since the shipping port video because I always learn different insightful techniques from your videos that I never come across anywhere else, thanks for the advice.
