Cheers for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried - Peyilyan Especial Principle (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one of a kind product for learning how to create unlimited videos without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my coo-worker after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.

Hi. I have a question for you. Hope you see it. Free pick seems a good website for practice projects, but how do you deal with crediting the author of the artwork for real projects? I mean, if someone pays me to make an explainer video for sure they do not want the audience to see a watermark on the add with arts author name. So how do I deal with this issue? Do you have any advice?

Nice tutorial as always. Small tip for layer separation in illustrator: select all objects, click on the hamburger menu in the top right corner, release to layers (sequence), drag all the layers above the first layer and you got everything separated.

Wow It's incredible this. When I was starting to use AE, didn't know how to keep up with these type of animations. After months of practice and using the program, I find it so damn easy how to do this stuff!. Keep it up guys, just keep practicing and we'll all become masters of this outstanding animation software.

youre spot on about companys using motion graphics now due to corona, im a videographer now working from home (no backlog of footage to edit and nothing to film at home), I'm now doing online courses to learn animation, new skill- win! They have paid up to £15,000 for explainer videos in the past (includes writers, voice actors too), this lockdown is a good opportunity to learn new skills for that side hustle

Hey Josh, you make a great point up front. And another thing that's happening, especially with us here in Ocala, is that a lot of Tampa/Orlando clients are going virtual with their trade shows, which opens a lot of opportunities for motion graphics content. Also, commercial developers are utilizing tactics like drone video presentations, so clients can do more offsite review. I've been doing a lot of tracking callouts and property boundaries over the past week.

And the background too separated. It can be tricky to separate each building as parts of each building paths or scattered in different parts of the whole layer . Need to focus well

Great tutorial, keep them coming! Very helpful for giving me a better understanding about how to animate. I would like to add that IMO it's smart to think a few steps ahead of animating in AE: within Illustrator you should already have an idea of what you want to animate and therefore create corresponding layers. This prevents you later on going back and forward between both tools. I speak from experience ;-)

denniszenanywhere The main problem is it’s a recording of a very large display, but a lot of us will watch on a much smaller display like my iPad, which makes the details in the video look too tiny. Tutorial videos are best recorded between 1920x1080 px and 1280x720 px so that everything is readable. The content is excellent though!
