how come my yellow box around the image stays the same? when I cropped, it didn't get rid of the rest of the image outline like yours. EDIT: I just found out my version has a "Delete Cropped pixels" box I didn't check. now my Tiles work. also, how come you don't start off by showing us the pixel size of your photo? and how do we confirm the head is between 1-1 3/8" long as required by the US passport?

Crop (with 1:1 aspect ratio), Scale (to desired size like 2x2) & Tile. Perfect. Great tutorial, it helped me!

Hi terryow100, not sure what i'm doing wrong. I followed exactly as you showed in your video. I'm only getting 1 full picture and 1/2 on the next one on the top row. On the bottom row, I'm only get half of the head for both pictures. Please help and tell me what I'm missing? Thank you!!

how do you ensure the eyes are at the appropriate height and the head is within the height requirements? the instructions for a passable passport photo are listed and precise. How do we actually make sure the photo will pass requirements?

September 26, 2024 - Thank you to the host of this video. I hope it gets more views because it is the best one that I have found in Google Search though it is a number of years older than some of the other videos on the subject. The other videos aren't well scripted and/or it is hard for me, an English speaker to understand. They also seem longer than necessary. If the host of this video is Australian, all I can say as an American is.. Aussie.. Aussie... Aussie.. Oi.. Oi.. Oi..!!!👍👍😊 To be fair, if the host is a "Kiwi", I'll say that her home country is beautiful with wonderful people.👍😊

Thank you, clear and helpful. what actually drive the Pixel when scaling the picture ? you used 800 for a 2x2 and 600 for the 1.5x2. in my case, i have a 33mm by 48mm for Chinese visa but i m not quit sure what pixel should I be scaling with ? Thanks

Sorry for the delay in my answering. Hopefully this makes sense It’s hard to explain, and I can’t put photos in the comments. What you need to do it work out how to print them to the exact size, so to do that you need to work out how many will fit onto a recognized print size. In this case your measurements 33 x 48 almost fit 9 times onto a 10 x 15 photo size, (3 times across, and 3 times down) but they will need to be very slightly trimmed. Note this is a portrait orientation not landscape as shown on the video. Crop the original photo to the aspect ratio 33:48 (or 11:16 is the same ratio) Scale - click on image with the chain linked, use 600 for the width Then click on filters - map and tile as in video This time keep the chain linked Multiply the width by 3 (1800) Click OK Because the chain is linked the height will automatically multiply by 3 too. Now if you print this onto a 10 x 15 borderless photo you should get 9 small photos which will require a mm or so trimmed off around them. please let me know how you get on

@@terryow100 Thank you very much Terryow for your feedback. Didn't try to print yet with the 33:48 since my travel to China was cancelled because of the CoronaVirus. Once i try it I will let you know how it comes along. thank you again.
