I still can't believe KZitem recommends this to me, right when I was planning to search up about 2D backgrounds for animations. Since I did it for my show. This was interesting, however, it didn't exactly help me much. Just give me another idea of how to do it, I wasn't looking for something like this. I prefer drawing and such for my own backgrounds than using a 3D program. Sadly Krita the program I use to 2D ( hand-drawn) animation, doesn't provide that.. . of course I could use Blender but I rather use Krita for 2D animations at this time. Anyway good video, I'll keep these tips in mind for other types of animations.

KimiDesu they're actually 2d elements painted in photoshop and arranged at different distance to each other in After Effects creating the impression of 3d. This was first created by Disney in the 50's with "the multiplane camera". Today you can do it at home. 🙌

Hi Olof, I have been inspired to use photoshop and take up animation after watching couple of your videos. I would like to seriously pursue animating in your style . Just had questions about your Patreon support. Will you be teaching the methods, techniques and guide me through the many software you have been using throughout your animation process? The question is about complete guidance from scratch to the final result you show on-screen. Your works are extremely beautiful and are truly inspiring for people like me. I would also like to know the credibility of myself as a student (i.e) the skills I need to already know to follow along with your Patreon lessons. I am willing to put in a lot of effort and time into the process you share! I would highly appreciate your support. Thanks!

Hi Divya, Glad to hear you have been inspired to pick up animation. On my patreon you currently get access to 25 videos covering different methods I use. And more videos are being added regularly. Its not a course that takes you by the hand and lets you know every single detail for everything in animation, but its a more in depth version of my KZitem channel where I share longer format videos showing my techniques. Some tutorials some more conceptual videos etc. I also have a more ongoing dialogue with my Patreons as they can ask questions in private messages etc so hopefully you would find those bits useful. :)
