Like I said in the video, I wasn't going to post this since it isn't really a clear step by step guide like a lot of my videos try to be. I think it's still cool for a lot of people to see me go a little off track and not do things perfectly though. The result ended up being cool but it was totally different than what I meant to end up with (hence the completely different looking reference photos at the beginning). There will be more structured videos soon, hope this one is still useful in the meantime though.

It's so tiring seeing people seemingly make perfect renders in 5 minutes with all the difficulty edited out. It gives beginners the wrong idea and experienced people know it's all BS. Equally, if you don't wanna upload or even make a render then you do you. Take care of yourself 👊

Would you be so kind and tell us your camera settings for your start up scene? Having difficulty figuring out what settings you are using when starting ? Camera length? & coordinates position ? Would mean a lot, thank you again

I’m so glad you decided to post this. We all have those struggles half way thru a render where we feel frustrated and like just giving up and so it’s nice to see how you deal with it. Also please never stop making these videos they are so so valuable and the your honesty with how you make things is unparalleled

Hello Max I am a retired Frenchman, 70 years old, former computer scientist and photography enthusiast, I discovered Blender in October 2022. Since then I spend at least 6 hours a day learning. I follow your publications on Instagram, Artstation and of course KZitem with enthusiasm from the beginning and I do not miss a single episode. You are like my guru and I try to inspire myself (even to plagiarize) your works to progress and make me happy. I had discovered this image on Artstation and immediately tried to humbly reproduce a Blender animation (kzitem.info/news/bejne/uopqz4SHfZyJom0). Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and work.

@thewitcher5168

Heyyy, you can do that by hovering over the corner of one window, it will show you a cursor looking similar to a crosshair then you can drag it and it will create another window for you to work in, then you can change it to viewport display, render, and then disable header and the ui from that window

Hey! That depends on where you're editing your video but most apps offer some form of color grading adjustments similar to Photoshop.

@@Searly What I meant was you can use a color grading tool in the software you're using to edit your videos and achieve the same results that you're seeing in this video. You don't want to use photoshop to edit videos and do these adjustments because it's a pain to work with haha. The color grading tool in a video editing software allows you to add one layer with the adjustments you want which then affects the look of all of your clips below that layer. What are you using to edit your videos?
