Functions allow us to easily use the same chunk of code multiple times on different data, variables, or ID's. In this video, we create basic functions using the code we've written previously to help streamline the creation of our app.
We create a function to make the word input, including the word number, the guess we enter within Wordle, and a lock button to lock our guess in and populate the cards (we don't do this part yet, but it's coming).
We also write a function to change the color of each letter every time we click on it. This makes sure that our companion app is doing reflecting all of the information every time we make a guess within Wordle.
