At 10 minutes in, after adding content to the Art Library, you switch over to the Material Library and click save. This is not needed, as the Art Library and Material Library are two different tools, whose contents are stored in different files.

Have you ran across files you put into the art library being removed from the library after rebooting the computer or files being transferred to another also after a reboot? Basically I'll import a file named Coffee Mugs with 60 files. Ill be able to pick a few and put them on the grid to burn onto a product then after finding out my computer rebooted after updates I'll find Coffee Mugs deleted from the art library and find half of the files from Coffee Mugs in a separate file in the art library.

I did not save the library after I created an shape and put it in the Art Library. I then exited LightBurn and reopened it and it was still in the library. I have verson 0.9.24 same as your screen showed. So either this version automatically saves it or I will later find the image is missing. Any ideas on what I missed? Per everyone else's comments, I subscribed because your presentation is better than most, showing how you got where you got. I wondered where the libraries are stored through your Material Library video, finding a great explanation at the end. Thanks abunch!

Thanks Warren! And hey, old habits die hard! 😎 You're right, 9.24 does automatically save, however, I have closed the program and lost artwork. There is a 20 minute window between saves in auto-save where you can loose the most recent edits, which is why I still save whenever I add anything. I guess I could spare the resources and lower that number, but saving is just an old habit... thanks so much for the comments! ✔

In part of the video, you show how the windows are moveable and will snap back in place. I'm having a problem with this feature, in that the windows don't want to go to the right side of the screen and shrink down. I'd like it so there will be a group of windows in the upper right corner of the screen and a group of windows in the lower right corner of the screen (exactly the way your screen is set in the video). Instead, the windows want to go to the top of the screen (just below the menus and functions at the top of the screen) and stretch across the entire screen. Is there an easy way to adjust this feature so I can have my screen set up exactly as yours is. Is there, perhaps, an adjustment in the general Lightburn settings or the device settings that could remedy this. It is very frustrating to try and work with the windows in this position. Thanx in advance for any help you can offer.
@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Greg, You have to get used to the way window snaps work. First, make sure you start in full screen. Then just grab any window by the title bar and drag it so that your mouse (in the title bar) is is the center of the window you want to dock to (drop it on). If you're still having problems, try making the window you're dragging about 1/2 the size of the one you want to dock to by dragging a corner in.
