Thanks for sharing. Two things. 1) Are the individual "reflectors" also deformed during the curving process? If so, then storage memory should be vastly greater than before the operation. So I think what you could do to preserve the reflector shapes and file memory is, 2) to curve a grid then reload the "reflector" components afterwards at the interstices.

Reflectors would be deformed - interesting idea with the grid and the components - I think the issue would be getting the shapes to align with the faces you create - I can't think of an extension that aligns objects along faces, but there may be one out there...

Creative as usual :-) now about grouping, I get this error message....... haha, just kidding! Now, repairing those edges, that is a real nice way of doing that! Thank you for explaining. I had a look at your PC setup and concluded that I have just about the same setup but I built it myself without the extra led lights and stuff. Thanks again!

Lol - I get that comment about 5-10 times on every single Flowify video I make ;p I tried this method with soap skin and bubble, but the mesh had too many gaps and it didn't work. Curviloft seems to create much more useable geometry - thanks Willem!

Hi Justin, love the videos. Thank you! I'm trying to model a bowl for skateboarding, with a shallow end and a deep end. I don't have an issue if the depth stays the same but the different depths is giving me some trouble. Could you point me to an existing video or an extension that may be helpful? Will gladly pay for a tutorial specific to this.

Oddly enough, the tutorial I made this morning might be helpful - kzitem.info/news/bejne/k2OXxaWJopt3ooY&lc=UgyjaSj3iV29Owo8o4x4AaABAg - Otherwise you might try an extension like curviloft

Thank you Justin, how do we give it thickness? By using Push/Pull tool?
@Thesketchupessentials

Generally - I'd make your thickness before using Flowify - for curved surfaces, I'd recommend Joint Push Pull

hey there! Hoping you have a pointer or two for me. i've been trying to make a domed ceiling/ roof for an odd shaped room. I've downloaded a bunch of the extensions from your videos, but I still cant figure it out. it's sort of an L shaped room with curved edges and nothing seems to want to dome the roof while keeping the other edges attached to the walls. absolutely anything would be helpful as i've been trying to do this for like 9 hours straight.

It's kind of hard to help based on this information. Seems like maybe a Soap Skin and Bubble situation? kzitem.info/news/bejne/uq-myIFrjaWBZYI
