Can the active balancer create an imbalance in your battery? This is exactly what I think is happening with my setup. The active balancer is balancing cells at medium SOC which then causes problems at the top end again.
Today, I'm doing the test. Two days ago I have fully charged the battery to 3.65V and manually balanced all cells to 2mV. After using the battery since then, we will see if the balance is still intact when fully recharging the battery again. No active balancer is connected and the BMS's balancer is turned off. The result is surprising...
