Thank you so much for taking time to put this tutorial together Ross. The render looks sick!!....Though found myself having to slow the speed, pause very frequently and even go frame-by-frame as I struggled to follow along. Would be really helpful if the pace was much slower, even at the cost of the video being much longer - if possible. Thanks!🙂🙌🏾

I tried to recreate this using the new Redshift nodes but the C4D Vertex Map Node is not available in the new node paradigm, so I needed to use the legacy nodes like you did.

Same problem here
@chomparjujuy
2 жыл бұрын
@@mrtnstien I found the solution. ctrl+e to go to cinema 4D settings, then go to render, redshift and untick "node materials for presets" this will make the node editor interface the old one and there are the missing nodes

@@joacim.w yeah im aware of the feature but then you lose what he’s acc saying essentially, although i appreciate the insight and form factor these videos are in i know id really appreciate if it was slowed down a touch and not ran through as quickly. Might just be me though 🤷🏽♂️

Ross, quick one - for the first vase material, the new node editor doesn't seem to have the C4D vertex map as a node. I've done this using the old shader graph, but any ideas how to get this effect using the new one?
