6 Questions 6 Authors
With Adam Wallace, Adrian Beck, Dannika Patterson, Michelle Worthington, Marianne De Pierres and Meredith Costain
This is the third episode of my Six author's, Six Questions series where we take six established authors and pick there brains as to how they did it. Book writing tips from childrens authors!
Todays question is: How do you go about creating characters in children's books?
We're chatting about Where to start, how do you create convincing characters and what makes a character real for our awesome commando team of authors
After you've asked yourself how to start writing, these are all important questions when you are writing for children.
How to develop characters is often where people start on a story (particularly a picture book), once you can write characters for picture books your halfway there.
Hopefully this will help you in the always confounding question of how to find inspiration for writing and create realistic story characters along the way :)
