Todays question is: How do you create a storybook world?
We're chatting about Where to start, and how our fab team of authors go about making their world feel real! So this is book writing tips from kids authors as they go about Creating kids book worlds to developing the setting in narrative writing.
Setting the scene in writing is one of the most important elements, this is where you set your book literally the world in which your story happens.
Finding inspiration in your writing can be tough, hopefully these tips from our amazing authors can help
Remember writing the setting or creating the setting its the place where all your adventures happen and the world which your readers will remember.

Jacaranda Magic won the title of ‘Best-Selling Children’s Book of the Year’ at Little Gnome Book Shop for 2018 and she was honoured to be the recipient of the MBC Queenslander of the Year Award in 2019 for ‘Contribution to the Arts in Queensland’.

Michelle Worthington is an international award-winning author and business woman.
Two-time winner of the International Book Award and finalist in the USA Best Book Awards, Michelle also received a Gellett Burgess Award and a Silver Moonbeam Award for her contribution to celebrating diversity in literature.

Meredith has won several awards for her writing including the Mary Grant Bruce Story Award and the Aurealis Convenor's Award. She regularly presents writing workshops for kids and adults in libraries and schools.
