The artwork, interviews, and cinematography are all beautiful. I just wish the narration matched the tone of the video instead of clashing with everything.

Fyi, his given name is Young-Jun. Kim is his family name. He might be referred to as Kim-sunsengnim (teacher/master Kim) but again, thats in reference to his family name not given name.

I'm a believer that we each need at least a positively constructive, better yet creative, outlet in our life. Ideally we can do such work for a living, but regardless of that, we each need it in our life. A life of solely soul-sucking work is unfulfilling, one needs more than that in their life.

I remember watching really good Business Insider video about this and Thai artist sold his pieces for mere $2000 after weeks of work... Then people wonder why traditional art keeps disappearing

I was thinking of that video as well. Quite sad that his work will die out while this man's work continues. Change with the times or get left behind I guess.

Kind of a questionable choice to repeatedly refer to the artist as Kim when that surname is not a useful identifier at all. Almost a quarter of the people here have that surname. I know it’s a mouthful for English speakers but would’ve made more sense to refer to him by his full name or first name here.
