It's nice to see you making tutorial, i hope in the future you would do it before the challenge is over so that we can apply what we learn to our artworks.

Yeah, I wanted to publish it before the end of the challenge, but it's really hard to keep the video and project quality at a good level a do everything in a few weeks. Anyway, Next time I'll try to publish it at least one week before the end of the challenge. Will do my best at least :)

Great tutorial! Glad I'm not going mad and am doing it roughly how I was supposed to lol. I did use red, green and blue nodes to give the glass a more realistic diffraction colour but I cant recall specifically how that's setup, I followed a different video for that.

@Masha_B
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment ^^ Not sure if I have time to create videos just for that specific parts of the scene. Anyway, if you like, you can download the scene and check out the lighting setup better. Regarding the cloth sim, you can't see it in the file unfortunately since it's applied, but you can ask any questions about it here. I could maybe consider doing a quick tutorial on my own channel about it when I have some time🤔

amazing tutorial as always! one question, do you plan remaking Bender Launch Pad in newest blender version (or doing any beginner friendly blender course similar to launch pad) anytime soon? would be highly appreciated.
@cgboost

Hi, thanks! Yes, we are planning on remaking the Blender Launch Pad course. However, since this is a big undertaking, we aim for a release at the end of the year. Probably with Blender 4.0.

Спасибо за фидбек! Обязательно исправлю перед тем как в портфолио картинку закинуть. Видео к сожалению уже поздно исправлять. Но хотя бы в следующий раз буду знать, так что ещё раз спасибо 😄

By adding the word 'realistic' to the title, you set a couple of expectations that were not met here-in my opinion. Tutorial as such is fine, but under the CGBoost brand and with 'realistic' I wanted something else. Or rather.... I know how I do my own glass with volume absorption, but it is always nice to see how other creators' solutions. Anyway, nice tutorial but more basic than expected.
