I love your videos especially those that empower to improve our own practice concretely. It could be a good idea to go deeper in different methods like customer journey mapping, UX benchmark or Heuristic analysis. But I know that it takes a lot of time and can be annoying for some people. Keep up the good work 🙌💪

Hi Femke! Do you still suggest Useberry and can you recommend a good tool for moderated studies that stack well with Useberry?

I found out about Useberry last year and couldn’t believe how many more features there are now. How would you compare and contrast with Maze Design?

It's a very good testing tool and used it for my one project but, in my experience, it lacks one important feature and that is taking notes as feedback from the testers while prototyping through a Figma project. If anyone knows how this shall work or maybe I am missing that feature probably, do comment to me below!

If you want to take your userbility tests to another level, try Useberry with Figma and Protopie.

Thank you for the Video, Well done! It's quite a simple and good working software. The only downside at this early stage I'm using it is that the imported Figma Prototype has a quite ugly black border on 3 sides of the prototype. Any idea a can prevent this?
@femkedesign

Oooh not sure. Did you try reaching out to the useberry team?
@Danny-bn2fg

@@femkedesign The prototype BG in Figma is key. It was set to black. You can change it to the BG color of the Useberry color and the border won't be visible anymore. It's a bit of a hack but it works and most people will anyway share with a device selected. No harm done.

Does Useberry source the test participants or do we need to have our own participants? :) TY

This is really helpful! Do you know if Useberry has the option to record an audio while the user goes through with the usability test? You mentioned they have screen recording, but not sure if that includes access to the user's microphone. Thank you!!!

I wish I could do this by just posting a website link! I’m doing an unprompted redesign and would need these questions answered on the current site before I sent them my prototype. Thanks for doing this video, I’m finding HOW to actually get the UX research is being skated over by so many others. We know we need it but how do you actually get it!!! Thx

Are you asking how to get buy-in from your company to do it? Or how do find interview participants?
@cp3onmtv963

@@femkedesign more so how to find participants. I dont think one should use the same 4 or 5 family members each time. Im transitioning into UX from another industry so these are all solo projects. Im trying to complete my portfolio and having a little trouble with the testing phase to put into the case studies!

In my Figma prototype, I have a lot of smart animations and hover states. However, when I import my Figma file to Useberry, those interactive states are missing. It makes my prototype less intuitive and very basic. Is there a way to solve this?
