I love how the behemoth has such a bully's face but little cute ears, just like hippos, I also love the name "Gigabrutis". The roc as bearded vulture is awesome, I love that bird, and your design looks incredibly fierce! I remember my biology teacher once showed us a book about animals and it had an awesome illustration of one attacking a goat. Also besides the behemoth and leviathan there is also the Ziz(although the role of big bird is already taken by the Roc, though Ziz should be bigger since they can block the sun and has some other features.)

Ooh, I love the way you made both the Behemoth and the Roc! Behemoth being a Primordial Tusked-Hippo-headed Beast looks Stronk and Epic! And the Bearded-Vulture Roc looks Magnificent and I love it! A Bestiary with Creatures made by you would be Spectacular! For some Mythical Creatures that would be Awesome to see: how about the Nidhoggr or Fafnir, Leviathan(of course), Cipactli, the Hydra, or the Omukade?

Hippos and bears are what basically happen when Mother Nature decide to make an OP character : those two are even stronger/faster than the law of physics should allow them to be and yet, there we are !! Complete Powerhouses : one is the ultimate terrestrial apex predator, the other laughs at those who hold that title around his turf. Anywho, love the designs but hate that you forgot to put a human or something to scale them up : I'm a sucker for these !!

You know why i love boars and hippos? Because those creatures fulfill the same role in nature: a big fat tank that's 40% head and whose first answer for everything and anything is violence. I think this Behemoth design embodies that sentence extremely well

All in all, I've always wondered why they depicted Behemoth in the form of a hippo, rhino or elephant every time, and not other more fearsome creatures (I know hippos are dangerous, but for all intents and purposes it's just a water pig after all, just like a manatee is a water cow XD)...??? Even Leviathan is portrayed as a huge awe-inspiring as well as terrifying snake or sea dragon, but it definitely suits him, or at least that's my personal visual opinion of these two creatures. 😶 🧐😤😅

Both bestiary and beastiary are correct for different reasons. Bestiary for origin accuracy, beastiary for content accuracy. However, I like the idea of both sides of this mundane subject being elitist snobs about it. You should definitely release a bestiary in the future. I love collecting those things. Jormungandr is my favorite mythological monster, partly because of generaiders in yugioh, but also beeg snek.

That's a modern misconception originating from Chistian Fundamentalists & Young-Earth Creationist twisting the line about them having a "tail like a cedar tree." If you actually read their description in the Book of Job, it's obvious that the description is based on a hippopotamus or an elephant (especially since said description includes mention of the navel, AKA the belly button, a feature that only placental mammals have and is absent in any species that hatches from an egg). "Behold now Behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares." -Book of Job chapter 40 verses 15 to 24, King James version While sauropods (long-necked dinosaurs) were herbivores (plant-eaters), they did NOT "eat grass like an ox" as they were mostly high browsers that fed on leaves, ferns, and twigs and were furthermore physically incapable of chewing their food as bovids do, instead swallowing their food whole and using gizzard stones to process their food the same way chickens & ostriches do. Additionally, the lines about the Behemoth laying underneath the "shady trees" (most likely referring specifically to lotus trees of the genus _Ziziphius_ if we look at the original Hebrew word "Seelim" used) means that the Behemoth could be no more than 6 meters tall, which means that most Sauropods were simply too big fit the description of Behemoth.

@@Serpentking789 or it could just be an entirely different creature we’ve never seen, I mean we are talking about God describing a creature to Job for the purpose of explaining his immense glory to Job, a hippopotamus wouldn’t get that message across nor would a sauropod to be honest. If God can create the universe he can create a unique creature so powerful that only God himself has authority over it.
