As a boxer, this fight is not bad at all from a realism point of view. You can definitely tell it’s choreographed by how “clean” the moves are, but the moves themselves are spot on.

Not only was this a one-take, which is already impressive enough, but they had to add in a cut over Adonis’ eye. At 1:08 it’s CGI, but later during the scene, while he’s off camera, makeup artists applied the cut practically. This scene is an extremely impressive feat of filmmaking.

Choreography is better in this movie than in the second and third movies. I saw creed three yesterday, and I was laughing at how crazy it looked. Cheorgraphy was straight. I mean it's way better than many, but I think they should've went for a more traditional cinematic vibes too. The chronograph just looks too rehearsed and not natural... plus it wad monotone. They should have shot the scene with highlight moments here and there to add more dynamic, instead of again this monotone flow of a fight. Plus I think MBJ acting sucks. He act like he's acting lol. Edit: just watched the final fight in Creed 2. That's what I've talking about. Dynamic, highlight moments and dramatic as a film should be. Only bad thing is MBJs acting was still cringe and he put on a ridiculous amount unnecessary muscle, a bit of a poser in that way. Them full 3D delta just looked weird. But it didn't seem to affect his punching tho. 2nd Edit: Just finally watched Creed3 fights (havent watched neither the full movie of 2 or 3 yet). Strictly reviewing the fights MBJ continous to get seriously better in his ability to deliver a good fight scene. Seriously all 3 of these creed fights have been the best in all of cinema history. What i enjoyed this time around with this 3rd one is the focus on Adonis being a little more slick, such as the slow down moments when he slips a shot and sees an opening to liver. His overall boxers body language looked a lot better, such as feinting, head pull backs, anticipating shots, etc. His fight with professional boxer Tony Bellew was the best. The final fight agaist actor Majors wasn't bad at all neither, but with him not being a pro boxer it really showed. His use of the Philly shield looked really awkward, and he definitely is not as experienced as MJB. I must say even though im probably still not a fan of MBJs acting, you can count on him to make one hell of a boxing scene, best in the game.
