I remember back in the day when I thought Creed was just Scott Stapp. I later found out the Mark Tremonti (lead guitarist) does a lot of the song writing and other instrument work. Neither of them seem to be anywhere near as good without the other (and possibly other bandmates, not sure how much they commit to it). Scott Stapp's solo stuff is decent, and same with Mark's, but when they get together it's fucking magical. I'm hoping Tremonti will get Scott to do vocals on a track in his next solo album.

My thoughts are with you brother. I'm a suicide survivor, 49 years old and I was 21 when I hung myself. I promise you my friend, I regret it and am glad to be here today. My life has always been a roller coaster ride, i walked away from my family for self preservation and I lost my mom just after Christmas this year and she was the last family I cared about. I could go on and on.... it's been a pretty tough 5 years or so, and I wanted to quit, who knows, coronavirus could be my end, I'm at risk for it..... but I'm more afraid to die these days :-) reality is, now that I gave purpose......I can't leave but if I do, I'm at peace. BUT, If I can be here and do this, so can you!! So get through what you've got to get through right now, get the help you need and then come back out and spread love and get love in return. Find your purpose my friend, I myself help others through their tough times..... let's you know your not alone but also feels good to help someone else feel good. It could be as simple as stopping to ask someone broke down if they need help, or mowing the elderly neighbor's lawn, or whatever you're able to handle.... it helps your feel goods. Just don't give up on yourself. We're all here for a reason, don't stop.

Creed got it hard from critics for being labeled as Christian rock. Those said critics don't know a thing about song writing and needed to piss off during these days. Jealousy will get your nowhere.

That's not what happened.....rock fan assholes got mad because they got popular....the Christian thing came after the rock fan assholes went digging...the band got popular fast and became to commercial. Notwithstanding the above, this band had serious talent

Some of their music was centered around personal righteousness, and how it has no place in God's Grace. And one wonders why the world is so frustrated by this? Jesus said they will hate you for spreading the Good News of the Gospel. But rest assured, they hated Me, long before they hated you.

@Jeff Carlin What type of evidence are you looking for, exactly?
@LennyCash777
3 жыл бұрын
@Jeff Carlin I don't find that to be an extraordinary claim, at all. Have you ever really stopped to think about how it is that you and everything you know came into existence? Have you ever really thought about how it's at all possible for life to come from non-life, or consciousness to come from non-consciousness? I think it's more of an extraordinary claim to say that we and everything we know exist because nothing decided to be something for no reason and somehow formed conscious, intelligent life from non-living matter. I believe, ultimately, it's actually more logical to believe in the Creator God then not. The truth is, evidence of God is all around us. But if that doesn't qualify as good enough empirical evidence for you, then the next best thing I can think of to point you toward would be the *Shroud of Turin,* which is the most studied object/artifact in the world for a reason. The Shroud of Turin is authentic physical evidence of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as far as I'm concerned. The Shroud and all if it's properties has baffled experts for many years, and even the critics will admit that they have no idea how it could've been created by normal, natural means. They're unable to replicate it and all of it's properties. If you want to see a very poor (and humorous) attempt at disproving the Shroud, look up a video on here titled *'How to Fake the Shroud of Turin'* by the Smithsonian channel. And if you care to watch a good, short, 40+ minute presentation on the authenticity of the Shroud by a Shroud expert, then look up a video titled *'The Miraculous Shroud of Turin: Evidence for Jesus'.* That's a good Shroud video full of facts on the Shroud to get you started, IF you care to. You asked me for evidence and there it is. It's up to you whether or not you choose to really look into it and accept it.

I agree James Garret, heck with all of your guys comments above. A lot of people now seem too say they don't care for Cread. Either anymore or never did. But I think they are amazing! And am not afraid to admit it. I'm 31, and I started listening to them when I was around 12 (beginning of the 21st century). It really helped me with my depression through HS and still does today (like when my ex, after 5 and a half years broke up with me and started to date a friend of ours i introduced her to.) Listening to Cread was part of what helped me to stay alive in this world, and get the help I need. And when I feel down it is one of the bands that I can listen to that makes me feel better. It made me realize that for a lot of use, life could be so much worse! I should be happy and thankfull for what I have. 😃 And what I've gone through, God has really been watching over me! And finally Cread just plays amazing music, so heck yeah, lol!

Good day beautiful friends. That means ALL of you. I start my morning with prayer and immediately music. I love music as it inspires me and sets the tone for the day. Today I chose this particular song. Many years ago I was at my rock bottom. The bridges were burnt and the phone calls nobody would answer. I could of felt sorry for myself but at this time I finally pursued Christ. I use to hate this band and I never knew why (satan). Then one day in my despair I listened to the lyrics. I then listened to every Creed song after that and until today 2020. It was that moment at rock bottom I asked myself "What's my life for"? God created me for His glory. Then that means my life must have meaning. Purpose! What was my purpose? Where do I begin? So then the journey began...I was shown what it was like to help other people and to stop thinking about myself. That day I died to self and woke up to self worth. My spiritual journey began. I know my purpose. I know exactly what my life's for today. Do you? Do you know God loves you so much He has work for you to do on His behalf. If you don't know where to start then start everyday on your knees saying thank you and go help someone else and stop worrying about me,me,me, I,I,I. Get rid of self. It's not about you. Never forget that. Now go get yourself some purpose! Quit with the poor me's and rise up and trust God.
