That’s an insane route, I was exhausted just by watching the footage

This is insane! I would have thrown in the towel after 1 hour if it was me. Very well documented, keep up the great work!

Wooowweee what a slog to get there, creeks can often be very hit or miss 😅 Looking forward to seeing you make it to the campsite!!! Hopefully the site is magical and worth the sweat to get in.

We ran into the same problem on our Severn River Conservation Reserve trip. The satellite images showed some open water and trails, but by the time we got there everything had grown over into a muskeg on a couple of the "lakes" and rivers. We wound up having to walk on the muskeg while dragging the canoe and eventually pulled off and found a snowmobile trail that somewhat followed the route we had planned. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Travelling on muskeg is crazy exhausting, glad we didn't have to contend with that on this one. Sounds like your trip was a tough one but likely a good one! Thanks for watching!

Well you went farther then I would of. LOL!!! What is your canoe made of? Hope there is a part two! Said you had a leech on you. How where the ticks? Maybe next trip, a drone might tell you how easy or not your trip might be!

This canoe is a Nova Craft SP3 Prospector 16, it is very heavy (90 pounds) and made of plastic so you can really beat it up! Neither of us got any ticks, luckily! A drone definitely would have been great but it also likely would have led us to retreat instead of continue if we knew what lay ahead, which would have been a shame!
