I love the wonderful morals summarized in the first two stories. And the important moral from the third story to never ever wear a fedora. It's not only socially destructive, but also will literally suck your brains out the back of your head

I was just saying how watching shows like creepshow (the original from the 80s) as a kid taught me morals to be kind/good to others.. the assholes often die and die horribly , lol. Also good lesson on the fedora..😂

A horror writer named Bachman, I wonder who that's supposed to be 😂
@burtan2000

Ah, a fellow bibliophile, I see. I read some short stories by a certain Richard Bachman. One was The Running Man. And sure enough, the film credits Richard Bachman. I wonder why the world's top novelist (at that time) would choose to use a pen name? His son did the same thing, IIRC, publishing under his mother's maiden name. At least for a while The family cat, when I was a kid, was named Tabitha after that woman. The wife of this famous author, and an author herself. My estranged eldest sister named the cat thusly. She was a rabid Stephen King fan. It was her cat tho I was the one caring for it when it was 17, 18 yrs old and pissing everywhere. I'm the one that put it down. I'm the one that burried it. I did still read a lot in HS. The Chocolate War. All Quiet on the Western Front. White Fang and

@@burtan2000 King only used the Bachman alias because his publisher didn't think that authors releasing more than one book a year was a good marketing strategy. Once the truth got out, the Bachman books' sales figures rocketed up, which debunked that notion enough that the pseudonym was retired.

That Vampire Tale had such a meloncholic ending, I feel like I was hit by an emotional tram moving slowly after that one - I feel so empty, but it was so beautifully written, ending on such a bitter but perfect note

I find it horrifically familiar, I can’t put my finger on it… maybe if he was wearing 19th century attire, A practitioner of the short story and thrived in fiction, especially Gothic & Detective. Then he would strikingly resemble EAP! But since this guy primarily earning a living through his writing alone, it’s no wonder it’s resulting in a financially issues!

13:11 I feel like there’s at least a 50% chance you could revive the boy! After all, he literally just drowned! Some CPR, remove the water from the lungs Bada bing bada boom! One moment you’re ending him the next moment you’re reviving! Essentially canceling out your crime of unaliving of a juvenile to saving a poor drowned orphan boy! Just like that, you’re in the good graces of the people and VOILÀ hailed as a hero! 29:52 look we all been there, parents always expressing that tough love to the point you just wanna chop em in the head with a dull antique Spanish conquistador’s sword! I get it, I really do! Just remember, doing so will eliminate you from your inheritance and reduce the amount of your trust fund! Honestly who could live off a 100k a month let alone deliberately jeopardizing it effectively cutting it down to just 50k a month. Not worth it, especially in this economy! Jet fuel isn’t cheap & what do I look like flying commercial? Doors falling off, people losing their minds and fat people are giving a free ticket for their other half of their ass! Nope!

I am so confused by the Father and Son story. If the photographer is suffering from PTSD and was seeing illusions, how was the wife able to see the photos of events that were happening/will happen? Like they found a photo of her holding her shoes and wearing the exact same outfit, like that makes no sense.

Is it me or are these versions of The Creep Show kind of crap in comparison to the older versions of The Creep Show. I'm starting to think that with so many tv shows and movies being created to now to make content for all of these services like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Paramount, Disney Plus, etc... that all the good writers are spread so thin that these companies are forced to make shows by bad, hack writers because there aren't enough decent writers left to make good tv shows. Like I said, is it me, or has anyone else noticed how badly the writing has become for tv and movies compared to the stuff the 80's, 90's, 00's? Hell, even the early 10's seem to be markedly better than the stuff written today.

how was the photographer meant to save the man and kid, there was destruction around. he would of been killed. also last one, the mother was too controlling and doesn't respected her child. if she had treated her child like an adult instead of a child, their relationship might of been better. than again the mother wanted someone to control and be her doll not one to be an individual.
