hey Ivan, how are you, mate? writing this comment from Taxco, Mexico. Long overdue vacation with my wife. planning to visit few other UNESCO heritage villages here in Mexico. Super magical and lovely here. As for this watch, I can not deny that it is very well made watch. Nothing really much to complain about (except the bracelet & clasp). Love the rubber strap design & buckle. very classy and clean finish back case. Kind of ordinary yet again, "clean" dial, hands...etc. As for the bracelet, not so much at all. Honestly, I have never liked "butterfly" clasp due to lack of adjustability (Hence, my liking to glide lock or similar styles). I do not want to nor can not complain about the fit and finish of the watch. It is obviously well made, however, it is very "boring" watch. Its main attraction is and should be the Skeleton design, but it is very common and boring. As you said, it is just a dimly lit back ground and my eyes never gets there, wowing the design or color and innovation work. Basically, I got wowed from the rubber strap/clasp and back case design than the skeleton dial. THAT is a huge problem for this watch. For a quick second, I thought about installing a red or blue LED light inside of the skeleton movement and start blinking to attract some attention, ha ha... Too much?! yes, it is too much and stupid. But that came into my mind for a second. As for the $1600 price tag? Perhaps half of the price should attract some customers? They could have used NH35 movement and dress up with colors and so forth and put a $500 MSRP? I do not know.... I think that they should make the Skeleton movement to be THE priority for the attraction. OF course, it is just my opinion and hope that it will be a huge hit with customers around the world. As a watch lover, I never wish anything bad to micro brand watch companies. They work really hard to compete and I wish them all well. Thanks for this awesome review, Ivan. take care.

Hello hello - looks like I missed this comment, apologies there. Hope the vacation (now long finished) went well my friend!! Good point you make about the skeleton dial of this watch needing to be the star but failing too... I agree, it is a dull finish there. If you ever get round to putting a coloured LED inside such a watch, do send me some pics or videos :) Sadly, I do have to agree that $1600 is pushing it here... and I suspect it really only moves on sale. I do like some of their work and ideas very much, and look forward to what they come up with next!

Disappointing if they didn’t put so much felt on the bottom that spin would be incredible

At $1600 US, with a Sellita 200 movement, these guys are dreaming! Really Ivan? I have several micro brand watches with the same movement for a helluva lot less money! I wish so called manufacturers of skeleton watches would make the bloody hands legible! I did it with a a Casio G Shock. Pulled it apart, painted the hands with my daughter’s bright red nail polish!🤣 Now a regular wear instead of a impulse buy hidden away. It ain’t rocket science. Definitely not on my shopping list.👎🏼

Thanks for your feedback Andrew! As mentioned, I suspect this usually moves when on sale… otherwise I’d like to know the usual buyers myself!

I think it's overpriced for a brand that I have never heard of until I saw this video. lol.

Not sure if whether you’ve heard of it should have any relevance to that…

@@PerthWAtch He has a point over $1000 for Chinese made unpopular microbrand. Really what value is even given "custom sw200"? Other than that you can get similar watches cheaper.

Not at all fucean, I’m just pointing out that I don’t understand where you’re coming from. Is it Chinese made? I suppose some parts are probably, but as you know it’s a Sellita in there. Original design remains the “holy grail” for micro-brands IMO.

@@PerthWAtch If it doesn't say swiss made you know it's Chinese made. Any Chinese manufacturer from alibaba can get you a sw200. Probably around $160-180 unit cost realistically. I've looked into manufacturing watches.

Not a lover of skeleton watches, but that is quite nice. It's a shame about the butterfly clasp, I hate them

There might be a bit of the Longines Hydroconquest in those crown guards? It does seem to be a pastiche, but they seem to have pulled it together so it works. It's not the dog's breakfast you would imagine if you heard "Royal Oak meets 222 meets Hublot meets Hydroconquest". Very well conceived piece, it's not a bad price point for it I don't think. I would still have a Monta over it, but this would be on the list.

Never been a fan of skeleton dials so this was never gonna appeal. If I was a fan, it looks a well made watch but at $1600 it's a tough sell. Too many more appealing watches out there

Sellita do a skeleton version of the sw200 so its just the dial that needs to be provided by the watch manufacturer
