Comment to let me know if you see the mistake I made on the install, there is a not so obvious one.

I didn’t change the throttle tube but I took up the slack in the pull cable and it is much better. The factory leaves to much slack in the cable.

I didn't see a place to comment on your seat removal mod but wanted to post. I tried doing the same mod, but the bolts pushed the nuts within the seat upward to a point they would just spin and cut into the foam. Did you have this issue with your seat mod? I don't know how you kept the seat nuts stable, they seem to push inward and spin very easily.

Daniel, I just did the seat mod that you are referring to, and one of the inserts “moved” on me, but the other one was stable. I just reinstalled the original bolt and pulled the insert back into place with needle-nose pliers. Got lucky on the next try, both bolts when right in.

just a couple questions on the modified 01-1303 throttle tube… i see you’ve only removed some material along the top cable runner and it looks like part if cable channel isn’t very deep anymore….so did you remove more than necessary and how far along that top channel do you have to remove the 1mm of material with the larger cam of the new throttle tube is there still enough cable slack that turning the bars full lock doesn’t cause the throttle turn stick or activate

I have a question I hope you can answer. I installed a G2 Ergonomics throttle body and a quicker cam. My problem is the cables bind at full right lock despite adjusting for maximum slack. You removed the nut on the adjuster at the carb and the adjuster is screwed all the way down. Does that position and removal of the nut provide the greatest amount of slack in the cable?

Just installed my G2. It was very tight to install but thankfully I ended up with enough slack. My bike is 2 years old.
