Not all heat presses all created equal! Today we'll be covering the differences between the Cricut EasyPress ($199) and The Pink Craft Press ($310) when pressing plastisol screen-printed transfers and digital, full color UltraColor™ heat transfers.
With heat printing there's three elements to a successful application:
1. Temperature
2. Time
3. Pressure
For small craft or home businesses, the Cricut EasyPress comes in at an attractive price point and may work great with cut vinyl, but it doesn't quite hit the mark for high-end craft or t-shirt printing: All because of the pressure variable!
With locking heat presses (Like the Pink Craft Press or Stahls' Hotronix line) you can ensure your time, temp and pressure are the same every time ensuring a perfect t-shirt, press after press!
Have you had better luck with the Cricut Press or the same results? Let us know in the comments!
