Bruce- I’m a retired Sheriff. I don’t see any reason for them to even go into her house period. She was obviously having some type of mental health issue. They should have just told her you checked her property and there were no prowlers. Then tell her if she has any other concerns to give dispatch a call back and that you would be keeping an eye on the area. Problem solved. This officer need to be in prison for life.

Police officers like this are not someone you can tell no to because as you saw they will just shoot you. She didn't give them permission to come in either he just followed her when she's not supposed to do. So frankly calling the police at all can have this happen or if you just have an encounter with them. This whole thing is so sad and unnecessary. Clearly she had reason to be terrified, and reason to beg them not to hurt her. If they had any idea how much fear it would take to call the police despite being afraid they would hurt or kill you, he would’ve approached this with far more empathy & compassion. "look the water came right to OUR feet" obviously trying to sway his partner as he is processing what he has just witnessed, trying to manipulate him to believe a story that didnt happen He was acting like an overly testosteroned ape from the second he got there. he is a murderer.

I don’t understand why you’d want to serve your community or area just to be pissed at those same people. I always take the time, the effort to comfort someone or help them when they just want to get checked or was hurt. There’s no need to be angry with everyone. "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus" is a black cultural phrase and not a sign of mental illness. We use it if someone insinuates something that we would never do or don't want to happen. It's kind of like a verbal "knocking on wood" based on cultural understandings of forces of evil/the devil, which cause bad things to happen and give people bad thoughts. The way she used it and meant it was essentially, "I can't believe you would insinuate that I would harm you with the water. I would never do that. You have some kind of evil inside you to even say that, and I am calling on god to protect me from it." Note, it is NOT a threat.

A recent video was shared about a black man’s encounter with a white retired fireman. He was elderly and having a birthday celebration with friends and family at a restaurant. As things rapped up, the black man walked by and stopped to say happy birthday or something along those lines. To make this story short, the firman told him that he had many regrets in life. The most troubling are those he remembers as a young fireman. Purposely leaving black men, women and children to burn in homes and cars and various places, as encouraged by his peers. It was commonplace until his conscious led him to leave the profession when he left a baby to die in a fire for the final time. Til this day he finds no peace. These demonic influences are real. I hear you too. A few years ago I had somebody get behind me driving on my bumper all threatening like cops do when they attach themselves to you, but it turned out to not be a cop. However; when they turned off and went a different way; my anxiety was sooo high from all the abuse I went through when I started driving and they kept picking on me and guarding my house making sure I couldn't go to work that my whole body went limp and I collapsed. Gratefully I was able to knock my car out of gear as I was falling and I was by a field that my car went off into and I was able to get my car back on the road when I regained my ability to use my body again. Trauma from officers who abuse their positions of authority to victimize people is real whether you have mental difficulties or not. It can be very debilitating!
