It was the string of murders that shocked the city of Boston in the 1960s. ‘The Boston Strangler’ was the name given to the serial killer who murdered 13 women from 1962 and 1964 around the city of Boston. Although the crimes were attributed to one man, Albert DeSalvo who gave a controversial confession, nobody was ever brought to justice for these crimes. David Wilson joins us in studio with a look at the new Keira Knightly film ‘Boston Strangler’ shining a light on the two female reporters who covered the murders and to break down this unsolved true crime story for us.
