This farm is one of my favourite farms, for over a year now, simply because it doubles back as a bonemeal farm, and you get nearly a 40% return on investment if you supply it with 64+ bonemeal, provided everything is composted. This farm supplied me with all the bonemeal I needed starting early in my bedrock 1.17 world, and now stands on an equal footing with the moss bonemeal farm. For anybody wondering I followed Silentwisperer's grass/warped/crimson nylium bonemeal farm design.
@jacara1981
2 жыл бұрын
Sadly 1.18 broke it, they changed the bonemeal gain from composters so you only get around 0.75 bonemeal per each bonemeal used.
@carissaraeee7947
2 жыл бұрын
And for anybody playing on bedrock, at 7:10 he talks about how a warped fungus can be planted on Crimson nylium but it won’t allow him to use bonemeal. On bedrock, it will allow you to use your bonemeal, but the fungus will fail to grow. So don’t make the same mistake I did and burn through all of your bonemeal trying to grow fungus on the wrong nether “grass“ block. It’ll even give the green particle effects as if it is trying to grow, but it just never will. I just thought that might be an important piece of knowledge for anybody new to Minecraft, that may be playing on bedrock edition

@@lisa_wistfulone7957 of course!! I only know because I made the mistake. I was trying to make a warped tree farm in the overworld, and when I bonemealed the ground, I got crimson fungus, I decided to try to grow it but After burning through all of my bonemeal, I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t grow. And then I realized it was on the wrong “grass” block lol😂🤦🏽♀️

I think it's good to mention that warped and crimson wood cannot be crafted into boats, or be used as fuel. Warped wood blocks are my favorite in the game, they are not flamable and go really well with quartz and copper.

Shifting floor farms are always a fun, although very noisy contraption. You can use these to make flower farms as well (ilmango showed a flower farm version of this with automatic collection, but the nether foliage versions tends to be way more productive. In fact, I believe you get about half the bonemeal back just from composting all the roots it produces. You might break even or achieve a slight surplus of bonemeal after composting all the nether/warped wart blocks as well.

You could also pop some of the shroom lights into the build rather than lanterns to help with lighting. Inset shroom lights, in my opinion, would look nicer than lanterns all over the place. They become part of the build.

Got nothing to write so here is pancake recipe: Ingredients • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour • 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder • ¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste • 1 tablespoon white sugar • 1 ¼ cups milk1 egg • 3 tablespoons butter, melted Process Step 1 In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth. Step 2 Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Enjoy!

Nether wart blocks and warped wart blocks are full blocks means of you grow them side by side like we do with spruce to get a massive tree. The wood will not replace them and we will get less wood then expected so it is better to farm them one by one.

This works great on servers with skeleton spawners (source of bones for bone meal) and advanced hoppers that teleport items into the dispensers! To bad that crimson roots are black listed so I can't sell that. The mushrooms do however sell at $6 per shroom. Maybe I'll add a second dispenser to this or make it tiled (multiple machines) and just make mad L00t$ standing there.

Another great tip for red and turquoise nether wart is that they have an 85% chance to raise the stack in a composter! So if you're farming warped wood, but don't want the wart, you could set up a little auto composter next to wherever you're farming your wood, and you've got yourself a little mini bonemeal processor! :)

couple of notes on how this works in bedrock. First, it moves a lot slower. Might be a limitation of the PS4 I'm playing it on, but my guess is it would be slower anyways. Second, the player actually slides with the ground as you stand on it, which doesn't seem to happen in java. It's not quite in sync with the machine, so it just feels glitchy. Sometimes I've fallen through it and ended up stuck inside the nyleum (sp?).
