So many stunning ammonites. I really love to watch these videos because they allow me to see places i most likely won't be able to acces in anytime soon sadly. But it is still cool to attempt to find some on fields. And I hope the other ammonites and other fossils you and your dad will prep, prep well.

These fossils are spectacular finds! You guys put so much work into what you both obviously really love doing. I can tell your parents have done a nice job of raising you both. Congratulations on all your fab finds. Your dad's conservatory/restoration work is top notch. Is he a Scientist? Forgive me if I don't remember. Not sure if you mentioned it. I've been binging your videos lately. I used to live 1 street away from the ocean where the giant Redwood grow near the top of CA. I truly miss it so much. We used to go every day during the Summer/ Fall & collect Agates at the beach. Best wishes & happy collecting from California, USA. 💚💙😊🦴🦖🦕🦈🐬🐳🐚

I would totally buy some of the empty sphereical nodules that have split cleanly in half. The centers would be a wonderful place to etch something or sculpt something

I realize a lot of creatures are like that today but not to the extent how most creatures back then were so ferocious. They mostly seem to have huge teeth.

Sweden and Estonia are the closest. We don't have almost any due to the ice age that moved land masses.

I'm sorry - i must have missed the informative vid. I've loved fossils and dinosaurs from the time i was a kid. But i still dont get how these fossils ended up in round rocks and only in certain environments. I need to do more research clearly!
@YorkshireFossils

To be honest, I don’t think it is fully known why they are found in rounded rocks, we certainly don’t know the answer!
