In this video, I'm explaining how to make Sepankizhangu Roast or Sepankizhangu Varuval or Taro root Roast with the combination of Peanut Chutney. This is a special dish in the root category. And this Taro root almost faded from our kitchen. Because when I see in the supermarket, very few are purchasing this Seppankizhangu root. This root is rich in protein and nutrition. Most people don't like the stickiness when Seppankilangu boiled. But how about making it as a crunchy snack? And we have the best combo Peanut chutney. Let's make this Sepankizhangu roast and Peanut chutney.
Here are the ingredients for this Cheppankilangu Roast
Sepankizhangu - 150 gms
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Black salt - 1/4 tsp
Salt - As per taste
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Maida - 1 tsp
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Rice flour - 1 tsp
Groundnut Oil - 1 liter
For Peanut Chutney
Groundnut oil - 2 tbs
Dry Chilli - 3 nos
Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
Roasted Groundnut - 20 gms
Salt - As per taste
Onion - 1 nos
Tomato - 1 nos
Red Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
