I need to watch this entire series again. You tend to forget everybody in the world was in it! My clearest memory is the way Richard Chamberlain says.”Clay Basket.”

I loved the ending of the series. Everything still up in the air. Because that's the way it really is. History, still being written.

I don't remember her but she sure is pretty. I was hooked on this show as a kid, early 80's. I'll re-watch it too, at some stage.

Fighting the Pasquinels. For those who don't know it,Lucinda McKeag is a Pasquinel. The Pasquinels were half Indian half white, children from Pasdquinel the French Canadian trapper and Clay Basket an Arapaho Indian (his squaw)After Pasquinel was killed by an Indian attack(probably Kiowa or Utes)Alexander McKeag,Pasquinel's trapping partner, took Clay Basket as his woman, along with Lucinda. The only reason I guessed that it was Kiowa or Ute Indians that attacked Pasquinel was because both Pasquinel and McKeag were attacked by those two tribes in the TV mini-seies.McKeag took a spear in his shoulder from a Ute,then later on was attacked by the Kiowa.I must've watched the TV mini-series "Centennial"twenty or more times. My favorite one was The Yellow Apron which pretty much covered the relationship and adventures of Pasquinel and McKeag. My favorite part was when McKeag and Pasquinel danced together at the Rocky Mountain fur trapper's rendezvous.

She was stunning in Flamingo Road. Don't think I recognised her as having been in Centennial a year or two before . . .

She left acting altogether in 1991 and eventually became a registered nurse specializing in kidney dialysis.

Christina Raines should have been singing richard marx`s 1987 love song "endless summer nights" to mark Harmon. In a flamingo road episode.

She was Lucinda, right? Been a while since I saw the series. She was the daughter of Clay Basket and McKeag. They sent her east to get an education. Excellent show that was from my generation that I am so proud of.

She was the real daughter of Pasquinel, the French Canadian trapper, then later McKeag. After Pasquinel was attacked and killed by a band of Indians,McKeag took Clay Basket as his woman(never his wife in the book Centennial by James Michener)along with Lucinda.
