Every single video you do is truly wonderful! Seriously! This was the best ICU equipment video that I can find on KZitem. Obviously I knew all of this from working with it, but for those who don't, they'll know it by the time they watch this video! I feel it's important to discuss another equipment. THE BED. Some people may think, "Oh, it's just a simple hospital bed." But what some people don't know is that these Critical Care beds can do so much much more than a bed on the floor where patients aren't so sick, and sedated. These beds are often designed to rotate a patient using the mode Continuous Lateral Rotation Therapy as on the Hill-Rom Critical care beds. On a Stryker inTouch bed, it's known as Lateral Rotation and that is used to rotate patients, at a set interval. The Stryker inTouch beds play music as well. These critical care beds are often capable of performing Percussion & Vibration, and they do it quite well. The beds obviously have scales, and can sit the patients up, and some of these beds like the Hill-Rom beds, can stand the patient up. A high tech bed such as the RotoProne bed might also be seen. The RotoProne bed can be used to rotate an ARDS patient onto their stomach, and then rotate them every couple of minutes.
