The usual cast of characters show up and get there fill before the rains came. I guess they ate up all the good stuff and then went home to stay dry. But not before knocking the mouth off the tree again.
I put a Wildlife Camera on my property to catch pictures of the critters that come to visit. How many can you count. The Raccoons are our favorites.
Support your local Wildlife Rehabilitator. The work they do is completely volunteer work. They do not get paid OR get receive government assistance, BUT they are heavily and unfairly regulated and monitored by them.
Rehabilitators will gladly accept help of any kind, be it with money, food, blankets, towels, stuffed animals (things a baby would play with) or even volunteer to help them. We need rehabbers, help them.
If you see injured wildlife or a baby animal, contact a local rehabilitator immediately.
