Getting a lot of daytime activity around the feeding station. Squirrels and Crows and of course lots of birds. I'm seeing a lot of younger raccoons too these days. Ah, baby season.....
I put a Wildlife Camera on my property to catch pictures of the critters that come to visit. How many can you count. The Raccoons are our favorites.
Support your local Wildlife Rehabilitator. The work they do is completely volunteer work. They do not get paid OR get receive government assistance, BUT they are heavily and unfairly regulated and monitored by them.
Rehabilitators will gladly accept help of any kind, be it with money, food, blankets, towels, stuffed animals (things a baby would play with) or even volunteer to help them. We need rehabbers, help them.
If you see injured wildlife or a baby animal, contact a local rehabilitator immediately.
