To all the viewers of your Vlog, I would disagree with you about the bus trip from Split to Dubrovnik. Unless you have bladder issues, there is absolutely no issues with taking a bus between those two cities, and what you have definitely missed to show to your viewers is the absolutely stunning beauty of the coastline! To all people reading this, please do not listen to this advice and do take a bus or rent a car. You will be in for a one of the most beautiful surprises of your life.

Are the buses cheaper than the ferry?

Love the stone walls - and the cats! I saw in the Guardian that they've built a huge bridge that skips passing through Bosnia, so presumably the bus will be a bit faster soon.

You are what I’ve been looking for! I want to see how you can travel by train and ferry from the UK without flying. Your videos are very informative and helpful and if people follow your advice, you’re doing good in the world. Please keep posting.

So true. And you can contract a urine infection if you don't use the lo for a long time. I'd hate it

5:30 that is sea, but looks like a lake. It is called Karin Sea. It is connected with the rest of Adriatic through a narrow inlet. Fun fact, that small sea leads to an even smaller sea through another inlet, so there is two of them, chained one after another.

loved this! I would have been similarly panicking about lack of toilet, so seeing you manage to make it makes me feel a bit more confident about ending up in the same situation!

I just randomly came across this video again while researching the Zurich-Ljubljana sleeper for a trip in April. I forgot you did this journey. I watched it again and it's just as great as the first time. I miss your content. Hope all is well!

What a great travel log. It's like living in a better low-carbon world, but just as fun as the current high-carbon world from the looks of it.

oh dear god, I don't know which is worse croatian trains or croatian buses. Although we have pretty developed train network in terms of train tracks, it is very outdated and the trains are very slow. so slow that it made to national news when croatian railways asked the public to send in ideas for their new slogan. people started publishing slogans online and they were all about our trains being so incredibly slow and always late that it is a national joke. for example "croatian railways, when you want to see the world in slow motion" and many others like it. it is trully horrible. buses on the other hand less misearble in terms of speed but more crowded, less spacious, stinkier etc. But in general if you want travel comfortably around croatia rent a car or fly. We have a network of great new highways with lots of stops, well maintained etc. Unfortunately until bigger changes to the infrastructure by our government other means of transport are not comfortable outside of bigger cities.
