Working on this right now! I love this stitch and the look of the cowl. Making it like yours- to pull up or down. Perfection. ❤

I love this stitch. Any tricks of the trade to not twist? Mine twisted.. but still looks lovely.

What is twisting? The yarn itself or the cowl? You want to make sure your chain is perfectly straight before joining it. Otherwise, your cowl will turn out twisted.

Hi Christine do you remember which yarn you used for this cowl? It is gorgeous. Thanks so much and I really love your videos.

It’s the Sirdar Jewelspun aran in the color northern lights (I think)

This is so beautiful! I commented on IG about it and I’m so happy you made this video. Would you please tell me the brand and colorway of the yarn you used to make the full cowl? Do you have a video for a hat with this pattern? Thank you again!!

I used Sirdar Jewelspun. I believe the name of the color was northern lights…? And I always use Furls hooks 🩷

I just found your channel, and i love it! Are there any tips you can offer on using Sedar Jewelspun yarn? Mine keeps coiling up. I'm pulling from the center, so I'm not sure if that's the issue or not... my gauge is good, so i dont think it's a tension issue. Thanks for any help you can offer. Love the cowl!!

Hmmm. I pulled mine from the center too but don’t recall having that issue. Maybe a little but not enough to be a bother.

What amount of non-wool yarn do you recommend to produce the size of the garment shown here? And is there anything on the web explaining the conversion of grams to yards? Isn't grams a measure of weight? So 50 grams of lambswool would be much longer and finer than 50 grams of ragg yarn? Everything I've seen on the web, and I've seen a lot, has only confused me more. If you know a link that will help I will be forever grateful. Thank you for this beautiful design.

In that case, you may want to go with length. I would say as long as you’re using #4 yarn, 250 yards should be enough.
