OMG I love this!!! C2C look without the gaps and in half the time... with a bonus of horizontal stripes (depending on yarn, of course). I just did a full length scarf in one hour and 10 minutes. The same size scarf in C2C would take me about 2 hours. Thank you so much! ❤

Wow! This is a beautiful blanket. As always your work is gorgeous and very neat. I too have always wondered how to do the C2C stitches but in the the normal horizontal method and once again you've shown me in a clear tutorial. Omw this is a beautiful baby blanket. If I may ask - how many chains did you make for your blanket, how many 100g balls did you use and what was final measurements including the border. I only have 4 x 100g DK yarn and dont want to run out of yarn.

It is a little similar to the drunken granny (or tulip stitch as I know it!) but this one is basically just the blocks that you make for a c2c block stitch but worked in horizontal rows instead of on the diagonal 🌸 I’m so glad you like it!

I think I chained 120 (with a 4.5mm hook) and I’m currently 2 balls done but have 2 more still to use… that will include whatever border I decide to use as well 🌸 but I’m expecting to have some left over too!

I don’t show how to add a border around this blanket in this video, just how to straighten off that top row ☺️ If you want to add a border, I’d just start with a round of double/single crochets all the way around and then you have a good base for starting whichever border you like the look of 🌸
