Robin, I am a 65 yr old woman, and in my day, it was just something a girl, or young lady was taught to do. I've been crocheting for years now, but I must tell you. . . I have learned more in the past month, watching your videos, than I have my entire life! I have actually WANTED to crochet again~! lol. . Thank you for that! . . Needless to say, pretty much everyone will be getting hand made items for christmas this year! :)

I really like this stitch, great tutorial and very clear. I think it is a nice pattern for the Super Saver Retro Stripes yarn, because it is a rougher yarn, ( some of the stripes yarns are softer). Yes! Yes! This is what I needed to see 🫶🏽 Thank you Mrs. Robin for continuing to bless so many of us, whether you know it or not. My aunt taught me to crotchet when I was roughly 10 years old. The pandemic encouraged me to pick up my needles and thread again after mehhh, 10 years? I am now 28 and according to my aunt.. I have completely taken what she has shown me and took it to another level!!! I hate to be cliché but this is the truth. Your videos have brought me tranquility when the past 2.5 years have been nothing shy of a whirlwind for me. As my generation says, “Your aesthetic is EVERYTHING!” lol. From your high caliber of editing to your clarity when explaining even the most basic stitch.. down to nail color. Phenomenal is an understatement. I just attempted the snowflake last night and was able to work up 2 of those cold boys in 30 minutes with Velvet yarn. Anyway, I pray you and your loved ones have a peaceful, safe and blessed holiday and more. I am grateful 🌻 Never stop teaching.. well, unless you want to of course 😄 Selfishly, I hope it’s no time soon! Thank you 🙏🏽

@@HookedbyRobin You’re more than welcome! You deserve the credit! Us “artists” are sensitive about our crafts even when starting out. Please take it and know that you are truly deserving of such praises!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with paying attention to details and being confident in your work. That’s what makes or breaks quality, in my opinion. It really is the little things 😊 and I am fortunate to have a great example. @@HookedbyRobin As is usual for me when crocheting in rows I'm missing something either at the end or start and my work is becoming triangle shaped. I will keep trying. I'm getting the middle section going well. Lovely Vs happening. But the turning bit I'm messing up somehow.

Thank you, Robin, for yet another fine tutorial! I need to pace myself with my crocheting. I have three projects going now ( two with deadlines) and my rotator cuff is beginning to be bothersome after one hour of crocheting. Prayers please as this is one of my favorite passions. Have a blessed Christmas!

Thank you Sally and I can 100% relate to that, I have to take every summer off to rest my hands due to pain etc. Take it easy and have a lovely Christmas.🤗🎄

Miss Robin, I don't know how long you have been at your craft. I am below a beginner and in order to improve my attempt at any needle craft i have watched many many tutorial on the subject without any visible improvement. I am most grateful to you for taking the time to show all of us newbies. Your tutorial is the first I have stumbled upon that I could come close to following your instructions much less actually understand. I'm a visual learner so being able to follow and complete what you are showing. I can never thank you enough for the wisdom , tips and tricks you share during the videos. Please keep up the great work that truly gives hook challenged people like me hope. God bless ❤

Interesting I must try this thanks. I work the normal V stitch normally except I never ever work a chain stitch in the V stitch. This also tends to make it less holey. 4:33
