I did this with ONLY single crochets because I'm an absolute beginner and was way too lazy to learn double and half double crochets, it turned out absolutely adorable! I still need to do the second hand though 💀💀

This is great! Modified and made these for my 14 year old daughter who hates needles but had to have surgery for a ruptured appendix. Ever since she's been very sensitive about her hands and had nightmares at night when they aren't covered. I made a longer version of yours that cover where the IV was and she's been sleeping better. Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial!

1:06 I love how you said you typically don't care about guage and all that extra stuff. That's totally how I am, too. I just "wing it" so-to-speak, and learn from the experience. Most of the time it works out for me. Thank you for posting this tutorial. Videos I'd watched a few years ago only showed tutorials for shorter hand warmers that went from just above the wrist to the middle of their fingers. I need longer ones. My hands are almost always cold in the winter even though I keep my heat at least at 70° F. I can't wait to try your pattern out and make some longer hand warmers. 🙂

You rock for sharing this! I’m a crochet newbie who’s been obsessively into trying to crochet new things and had been wanting to do arm warmers. I found a cute pattern elsewhere but it was way too complicated! But this was perfect! I love the way you explain just enough and kind of left things open or pointed out the parts where we could change things or do what we wanted. I’m still finishing up my first set but already racing with ideas for another pair. I have never seen a video where someone taught enough and encouraged people just going for whatever they wanted so that is super cool. If you don’t already teach, you should because I think you’d be a great teacher.

When you increase for a round, are you doing an increase on every stitch? So going from 30 to 60 on the first increase round, then 60 to 120 on the second round, then 120 to 240 on the third round? I don't think that sounds right, but could anyone give me advice on what is meant?
