The beginning of this video (the rows before the seed stitch pattern begins) is SO helpful for freehanding any kind of sleeve. You explained it perfectly. This is exactly what I was looking for. I've just started a case for my portable keyboard. Thank you!!

Love this pattern. Little hard in the beginning but I’ve made it twice. One an iPad cover and the second a book cover

amazing video and super cute sleeve!! i made one already and it turned out so good, but now im making a second and im very confused because it seems like after every row i am getting a single crochet instead of it alternating. i dont see anything wrong within the row, do you have any tips on how to fix this/ why its happening? thank you!!

Does the amount of stitches have to be uneven? Because I startet with 42 stitches and I always end my row with a single crochet… will that ruin my pattern?

hi there!!! I love this video but i do have a question. for the whole thing are you constantly still going into only the back loop or is that only for the first couple rows of single crochet and then when you start the C stitch do you go through the whole stitch with the V? THANK YOU!!!

I’m confused on the single crochet at the beginning. Where did the second loop of the v come from? I’ve never seen a single crochet like that but I’m new to

So do we just go round in a circle or turn the work because you’re not clear

Eek mine keeps getting wider and doesn’t go straight up on the sides.

It could be to do with your tension I find that happens when I don’t have an even tension. Or you could be miscounting and increasing. Sometimes blocking your work makes it straighten out too! I think the type of wool you use can make it look wider/ wobbly as you go along. I find it so difficult to make it go straight 😭🩷

Guys please what if i only have three millimiter yarn what should i change im still a beginner please help 🥹 (especially in the beginning when shes making the base of the sleeve like how can i add more rows )
@em1lka

Hey! By 3mm yarn do you mean thinner yarn? If you have lighter weight yarn you would add more when chaining at the very beginning to accommodate for the smaller size yarn. You might want to make some samples to ensure the amount of extra chains to add. Let me know if you have anymore questions!

Yep, it can work for a computer as well, you'd just need more yarn and it would take a bit longer but it'll work

You’ll have to be more specific, what did you find confusing?
