My mother paid an older lady to teach me to crochet, Knit, & embroidery when I was 11. I am now 47 yrs old. I say that so you will understand how important the first 10 minutes of this video is. I have been trying to learn the love Knot stitch for years. I have watched just about every video there is on how to do it. For some reason I couldn't rap my brain around how to do the Stitch. After following you in this video it was like something finally clicked. And to be honest I'm not surprised because it's not the first time one of your videos gave that aha moment. So thank you very much. This Blanket is beautiful & I love will make an beautiful gift for an unnamed member of my family. After having learned how to do this Stitch I am going to find me another pattern featuring this stitch. I am so excited. Don't you love that feeling when you have wanted to learn a Stitch & you have that aha moment. Thanks I really appreciate it.

This was my Grandmother's absolute favorite stitch. She taught me to crochet 60 years ago. I wasn't experienced enough then to get this stitch, plus she always did it with very thin crochet thread with a 00 hook so it was actual lace on hankies. I think I can do this now!

The simplest explination of this stitch I have seen. I have always wanted to do this stitch, but have avoided it because patterns and other instructional videos were complicated with too much helpful information that made it seem very complicated. Not you Mikey! Just came across yours this morning, and it makes perfect sense! Lol Thank you so much. This will be the blanket I make for a dear friend. I will be using a worsted weight roving yarn also in a lovely dusty pink. Looking forward to it. Thanks so much to you, The crochet crowd, and Yarnpirations for this pattern and tutorial💗
