I love this Candy Cane because it's the size of an actual candy cane, super-easy for beginners & rigid with a fool-proof way to bend the curve.

WRITTEN CANDY CANE PATTERN
This will make a Red and White Candy Cane.
With white yarn, ch 51.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch across; change to red yarn in last st (50 sts).
Rows 2-3: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across; change to white yarn in last st.
Row 4: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Fasten off.
To finish the Candy Cane, the fabric is coiled around a wire core and sewn in place (see video for supplies and demo).
Note: A chain 1 at the beginning of a row is for turning your work and does not count as a stitch.
Use this cute Candy Cane as a Christmas ornament, a gift topper or a party favor. The finished Candy Cane is about 6 1/2” tall.
