@@zuhanadeem9833 Hello first and foremost thank you for answering my question. I have looked at a few KZitem crochet beginners videos but the instructions look complicated, crocheting looks complicated! HOW does one small hook create so many different patterns? I did see one video which I thought was easier to understand but still one hook and a hundred different patterns😂😐!!!

to make anything bigger you can use 2 strands of yarn at a time and a bigger hook!
@PenguinStealsFruits0

Another option is to do more rows, but a bigger hook and yarn would be faster.
@lucasmeixner8971

If you want to make a bigger version, just use a thicker yarn next time! Find the reccomended hook size on the label for the yarn you want to use and use a hook 1-2 mm smaller, then just follow the pattern like normal!
@Marts270
Жыл бұрын
Yep, but I also find useful increase and add rounds at the end of the pattern. If the pattern ends with r12 11sc 1inc, do another round (r13 12sc 1inc) or add rounds of sc-ing around betweeb rounds

In the future if you wanna make something bigger, add more increase rows! So I’d the project stops at (5 single stitches, 1 increase) x6 per row or whatever, keep the pattern going by adding more increases in the next row! And then just follow the rest of the pattern as you would otherwise! :)

@hopenoble7266

I found out recently if you want to make a pattern bigger but use the same yarn and hook size that you just add rounds to it. Say like you are making a basic circle shape for a head and it starts with a magic circle and increases for 10 rounds before decreasing for 10 rounds, you could double by increasing for 20 then decrease for 20. Just keep the same formula of increase and decrease. Such as 1 inc, 4 single crochet for round 10 so round 11 would be 1 inc 5 single crochet. I will say I haven't figured out if this makes some patterns janky yet, but it works great for basic bodies of things. I enlarged a potato pug by like 3x using this method.

Hello! One way to fix a pattern that you can’t double is starting at a normal size (normally 6sc in the mc) and then increase it to the size it’s supposed to be at for the “start”! Same kinda goes with making a pattern smaller but that can be much more difficult-
