Crock-Pot BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich: George's BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
-Family Pack Chicken Breast
-Onion
-Celery
-Hamburger Buns
-Grill Mates " Tennessee Smokehouse BBQ Rub"
-George's BBQ Sauce "Original" and "Hot"
-Salt and pepper to taste
-Cumin seasoning
-Mrs. Dash seasoning (your favorite seasoning)
-1 cup of water
-Brown Sugar
- Molasses
-Chili Powder
Direction:
1. Place chicken breast in a bowl. Add the Tennessee smokehouse BBQ rub to the chicken breast. Add salt and pepper to taste, cumin, Mrs. Dash seasoning. Now rub the seasoning into the meat with your hands.
2. Cut half of onion into slices, and 1 1/2 cups of celery. Place in the bottom of the crock pot.
3. Now please chicken breast on top onions and celery. Add 1 cup of water to crock pot. Now add the lid to the crock-pot.
4. Set crock pot temperature too high and let it cook for 5 hours.
5. Now place chicken and vegetables in a bowl. Pull the chicken breast apart with a fork. Now pour out the liquid left in the crock pot into the sink.
6. Now add shredded meat back into the crock pot. Add George's BBQ sauce hot and original to the meat. Add brown sugar and molasses, add more salt and pepper to taste, chili powder, cumin or whatever seasoning you like. Now mix thoroughly together. If you want to add more sauce you can do so. Cover with the lid and let it cook for another hour.
7. Place a hamburger bun on a plate and stack your sandwich. You can use whatever condiments you like. Enjoy
