Crock Pot Chicken & Dumplings:
Ingredients
*4 large or 6 small chicken breasts (frozen or thawed)
*4 TB of butter (cut up)
*3 cans (10.5 oz) of cream of chicken soup or 1 big can/1small
*32 oz of chicken broth
*1 white onion chopped
*salt/pepper to taste
*garlic powder
*poultry seasoning
*Cajun spice (optional)
*10 refrigerator biscuits
Place chicken breasts in the crock pot and top with butter. Season your chicken breasts with however much you prefer. Chop your white onion and place on top of the seasoned chicken breasts. Place your cream of chicken soup & chicken broth in a large bowl and whisk together. Pour soup mixture on top of the chicken breasts making sure to cover as much as possible. Place the lid on the crockpot and cook on High for 4-6 hours or low 6-8 hours (I cook mine on low for 8 hours).
After 8 hours, cut your 10 biscuits into fourths (4 pieces per biscuit) and place in the crockpot. Cover and cook on High for 30 minutes. That is it! How easy is that! ENJOY!
