@sarina76667

@@decimation9780 Tortoises are actually very adept climbers, they just look awkward doing it. Many tortoises are native to rather rocky landscapes. Russian tortoises are native to the Steppes which is a cooler arid landscape at the foothills of mountains. Their claws are designed for digging. In the wild they are known to travel up to 4 miles just to find food. That’s traveling uphill, over rocks, across a variety of terrain to get to where they want to be. If a tortoise wants to get somewhere, they’re going to find a way. They’ll go over things, under things, move things out of the way, trample things...they’ll find a way

Most people don't have any or very little knowledge about Lizards (including me). Dogs on the other hand are known by almost everyone the same goes how to read their behavior. Dogs are also way easier to understand. Their tail and ears show of how they feel so you can't miss it. Dogs have also facial expressions which are also very easy to read. I couldn't tell you when or if a Lizard is upset, happy or hungry. But i agree with your statement at 0:29. Even Sharks and Crocodilians can show affection. There is this "Crocodile Man" In Costa Rica he swims with this massive thing.

Once they learn how fascinating a lizard can be, they'll come around. Just make sure to let them know not to use insecticides or cleansers around him. Also, know that it takes time and effort to get one this accepting of you. These here were raised outdoors apparently, but, if you keep one indoors and don't regularly take it outside, they often go wild on you the SECOND time you take them outside, going apeshit. Start it young when easily manageable and get it used to it and keep it up and you, too, can have a critter with the attitude of the one seen in this video.
