Snow day. Which means… I had time to watch some KZitem! This whole Four Corners trip must have been incredibly eye opening and soul grabbing. What fantastic scenery! I’m so glad you rented the RV, it reminds me of the one and only RV trip I took as kid, waaaay back in 1981. My dad wanted so badly to rent a camper and go to Canada. So, six family members from England flew in for a few weeks, and we embarked on a journey to Banff National Park. Eleven of us piled into a 28 footer, and took along a ginormous canvas tent to split the difference between guys and gals. I got to know my cousins from across the “pond”, see one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and learned to appreciate the privilege and experience of traveling from campground to campground. It was the ultimate RV excursion of a lifetime, and for my dad, the only one. He died suddenly of cancer just eighteen months after that trip. It just proves that when you are inspired to go, just GO. DO IT. Thank you, again, for inspiring people to take the leap. I can never say enough how thankful I am for your commitment to showing off every nook and cranny of this incredible country of ours. It never gets old, only better. So much progress has been made on this channel. It would be a sad, sad day, if you ever got tired of it.❤

Hey Robert, another great video (I don't think I've every seen a "bad" Traveling Robert video now that I think about it)! Having followed you for the last couple years, it's always fun to review your early videos. I am amazed with how well you organized your first trip west! What's most impressive is your willingness to drive Loveland Pass, no less in a class C motor home! Loved "Remember that beer I had back at Glenwood Springs? Big mistake." @ 8:27. I said the same thing the first time I drove Beartooth Pass except it was Cooke City where I had the beer I regretted--beer and mountain driving don't mix! Admire your ability to condense your travels in such digestible short videos and how much planning you do, even 9 years ago! Looking forward to seeing the videos from your current Alaska trip!

Great Trip Robert! You inspired us to take our own vacation visiting "The Mighty Five". We live in Idaho, so we started at Capitol Reef. Then Arches and Canyonlands. After four corners we went through Monument Valley and stayed at Wahweap. Nice huh?! our boat trip took us to Rainbow Bridge, WOW! Then on to Zion and Bryce. Have you seen Zion yet? It's fantastic. Thanks so much Robert for your inspiration, I hope to see more of your videos. Happy Travels!

Excellent shots as always, the music @2:10 sounds suspiciously like part of Fei Long's theme in Super Street Fighter II. Inspiration or coincidence? 🤔

Just discovered your channel. I'm investigating going full-time. I recently discovered that I also have altitude issues due to a health condition, I was in Park City for 5 days and it got the best of me. Spent the last day sleeping. Searching for your thoughts on the Class C rental now.

Hi Robert, Thanks for sharing these videos. Really award winning for travelling types. I am going to few of the ones you did in these series. They will be a small part of my journey of 27 days. As like you I will be short of time. I want to know if 4 hours for Capitol reef, 5 hours for arches. 4 hours for Antelope canyons, 3 hours for bryce canyon, 1 hour for horse shoe bend and Goooseneck 1 hour should be enough. Thanks in advance.

+Joemike Fernandes Thank you! The times sound about right for like bare minimum, except for the lower Antelope Canyon. You can probably do that in an hour. For Horseshoe bend, keep in mind that the hike from the parking lot to the actual view point is almost an hour round trip, maybe 45 minutes, so you should plan a little more time. Of course in every one of those places you can spend a lot more time, especially at Arches. Next time I go I'm thinking two days, to be able to to a couple more hikes. Enjoy your trip and thanks again.

+TravelingRobert Hi again, your input here will be of great help in planning my journey. Based in UK I have travelled some long journeys in continental Europe, time distances calculated about 20% extra over the google maps recommended. Will that same method will be OK in USA. Thanks.

How long was you on the road for this entire trip?
@AndrewLewer90
10 жыл бұрын
Every video has in the title the number of the day the video itself was taken. So i guess 8-9 days, since this was the 7th day of the trip and the next video(s) are going to be in Denver.

Andrea Lumpp I meant the entire trip from home sweet home to home sweet home and not counting the home away from home! I bet he doesn't get high in Denver.

Well, on the road on the RV it was 7 days, from Friday morning to Friday morning. Then I spent the whole weekend in Denver and its surroundings. So in total I would say 10 days.

This guy is the best of all. Hands down. And as my south Alabama cousin 30 years ago used to say, "He's a Mexican!" What f_____ ignorant people there are in south Alabama, including most of my relatives..
