This was an original recording of the "The Skylarks" which became the "Fairfield Four", I don't remember what year it was recorded, but Isaac "Dickie" Freeman was the original leader on this song, check them out!!

The ending of the final chord was amazing! It is so much harder to soften just that little bit than it is to push at the end of a song. That is skill!

1:23 nice how the bass singer goes from the C3# down to the C2#, That's only a semi tone from C2 'Low C' and he delivers with a very good quality! He also sings a Very impressive loud D#4 in " lucky old sun " what i'm trying to say is, wauw this guy has a superb range, with actual high quality in both ends.

Hitashi son - Actually in Lucky Old Sun that is a high F#4. Right before the ending.

love the song, I just don't understand why they're singing 'jerden' instead of 'jordan'

This song was originally sung by the Fairfield Four, an African American quartet formed years ago, and they sang it with 'jerden'
